Members of the Donnie J. O'Neill Orthopedic Guild here in Shelton recently held a "baby shower" in support of the local WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program in Mason County. All of the gifts were delivered to the local WIC facility to help those in need.

The guests at the meeting were former Shel-Toa Orthopedic Guild members Bonnie Salisbury and Phyllis Ahlf along with two members of the Tacoma Orthopedic Association, Joan Shelman and Lois Ruck.

The Donnie J. O'Neill Guild has been raising funds to help support the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma for 52 years in Shelton. Brenda Killan says, "A well-known fundraiser for the guild is their fabulous salad bar luncheon and holiday bazaar held the first Friday in November at the Civic Center in Shelton."

The O'Neill Guild is always looking for new members. For more information contact Killan at 426-1601, Extension 3112 or Vickie Gonzales at 426-1601, Extension 3142.
