Academic excellence awards Mason County Juniors

Juniors from four Mason County Schools, who were in the top 10 percent academically in their class, were honored at a ceremony at Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 20. This is the 30th program and is sponsored by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club.

Master of Ceremonies

was Janis Byrd of Edwards Jones Investment Service, Rebecca Morey, vocational rehabilitation counselor for Washington State Dept. of Social and Health Services, John Dunlap, Harstine Island Gallery, Master Potter, William Miller, Shelton, Chinook helicopter pilot and floating crane operator.
