Health fair scheduled for St. Edwards Church

St. Edward's Church will sponsor A Health and Safety

Fair for Hispanic families from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The parish is located at Seventh and C Streets.

The Health Fair will offer free health screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and

cholesterol. There will also be presentations on worker safety and rights provided by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.

Health insurance options will be explained and home safety issues will be addressed at the event. Instruction on the prevention of breast cancer will also be given.

A light meal will be provided to participants at no cost.
