Georgia DeBritz Huntley died of brain cancer on Friday, May 22, at her home. She was 69.

Mrs. Huntley was born on March 28, 1940 in Seattle to Evelyn and Ted DeBritz. She graduated from West Seattle High School in 1958 and attended Washington State University.

She married first husband Richard Duncan and had three daughters. She retired from Boeing 20 years ago after marrying Charles Huntley. They spent winters on the golf course in Surprise, Arizona, and summers at their lake house in Allyn.

Her family said she had a dynamic personality, a contagious laugh and spar-kly blue eyes. She treasured most her colorful collection of friends and loved each and every one. She was the ultimate "life lover," enjoying travel, golf and hostessing literally hundreds of parties. One of her many mottos was "Hugging is good medicine."

Preceding her in death was husband Charles Huntley.

Surviving are sister Gloria Alldredge; brother Rodger DeBritz; daughters Dela-na Duncan, Janine Duncan Monnin and Lisa Bunker; stepchildren James Huntley and Donna Holsman; sons-in-law Brian Monnin and Michael Bunker; and grandsons Waldemar, Clive and Vonn Bunker and Theodore and Duncan Monnin.

A life celebration took place on the afternoon of August 15 at the Port of Allyn gazebo in Allyn. Donations can be made to Mason Cancer Crusaders, P.O. Box 40, Belfair, WA 98528.
