Rollover injures 16-year-old girl
On Monday, Aug. 30, at approximately 8:36 p.m., Verde Valley Fire District crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover on southbound State Route 89A near mile post 360.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a 16-year-old girl whose vehicle had left the road and rolled several times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Rescue operations caused the roadway to shut down for a short period of time. Due to the extent and mechanism of injuries, the patient was airlifted to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment.
The scene was turned over to the Arizona Department of Public Safety for investigation.
