Sedona Jerome host artwalks

This Labor Day weekend, celebrate an art scene too boundless for one city to contain. First Weekend will offer a full weekend of art receptions and new exhibitions for beginning and seasoned collectors, visitors and locals alike, according to a press release.

From 5 to 8 p.m., the Verde Valley explodes with art at First Friday: Evening at the Galleries in Sedona and First Saturday at Jerome's galleries and artist studios.

With the recent construction completion, , a revamped Gallery District awaits Sedona

visitors with wide sidewalks, a pedestrian bridge and plenty of parking in Sedona. During First Friday, the trolleys transport art lovers to all the galleries.

In Jerome, art lovers can walk the artwalk with map in hand or make use of the free shuttle.

Enjoy openings, entertainment, refreshments, and one of the nation's most vibrant art scenes amid the red rocks and soaring views of the Verde Valley.
