The school board accepted four resignations at its meeting last Monday night.

Resigning were Brandon By-ers, Lake Roosevelt High School assistant football coach; Amanda Poch, classified para-educator; Guilermo Guzman, Lake Roosevelt High School ninth-grade advisor; and Stacey Nash-Toulou, Lake Roosevelt High School English teacher.

The school board also approved two hires, Holly Weston, school psychology and special education coordinator; and Jaci Gross, Lake Roosevelt High School assistant girls' basketball coach.

All other normal renewals of administrators, teachers, classified, supplemental and coaching contracts were also approved by the board.

Board member Joette Barry was re-elected as legislative representative for the district. A request by Nate Piturachsatit for a year's leave of absence as middle school football coach was denied by the board of directors.

The board declared surplus old textbooks to offer them for sale to other school districts. If no one is interested, they will be offered for sale to anyone else interested.
