Jeremiah "Miah" Nicholai

The Star of Grand Coulee, Washington

Jeremiah "Miah" Nicholai of Omak went to be with the Creator on Sunday, August 15, 2010. He was born on May 24, 1981, to Nicholas and Violet Nicholai of Plummer, Idaho. First years of his life he was raised in Plummer then Miah and his mother moved to Omak where he stayed most of his life and grew up.

Miah enjoyed hunting, golfing and watching his two children grow up and play sports. He loved just hanging around playing games with his cousins. Miah was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.

He is survived by the love of his life Christie Erb; his two children Bruce and Maliah Nicholai all of Haley Creek in Omak; his parents Nick and Violet Nicholai of Plummer; his stepdad Duane Edwards of Riverside; Joee Buckner and her friend J.C. Bohlman and their two children Sativa and Jr. Bohlman of Worley, Idaho; also Sammy of South Bend, Ada Marks and Aaron Nicholai both of Lapwai; Shannon Nicholai of Worley and Ari of St. Maries; grandfather Peter Sam Nicholai; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A family rosary was held August 16. A regular rosary was held August 17. Funeral services were held August 18 (today), all at the Omak Long-house. Burial followed at Shady Rest Cemetery in Okanogan.
