Betty Ann Maier, passed away in her sleep Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, in Grand Coulee with her husband Larry by her side. Betty Ann was born May 1, 1928, in

Riverdale, Calif.; she grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1946. She graduated from the University of South California with a degree in dental hygiene in 1950. She worked as a dental hygienist in L.A. for many years where she met and became best friends with Yvonne

DeCarlo, famous for her roles in such films as'The Ten Commandments" and as Lily Munster on the sitcom, "The Munsters."

Betty Ann lived in Los Angeles until she met her future husband Larry Maier, while both were on vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico. He

swept her away to Electric City where she lived for the past 40 years.

While she had no children of her own, she had two step-children; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also "Aunt Betty Ann" to so many nieces and nephews it would be difficult to count them all. She was everyone's favorite aunt because of the way she lit up a room with her personality whenever she walked in.

She is survived by her husband Larry; stepsons: Lonn Maier and Greg Maier; nephews, Bob Byron and Bill Byron; grandniece Kelly Hentzen and sister-in-law Val Byron.

At her request no services will be held.
