Patrick M. Suillivan

The Star of Grand Coulee, Washington

Patrick M. Sullivan, age 80, of Omak passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was born on February 18, 1930, in Metaline Falls, Wash., the son of

Bertha R. (Tillman) and Lynn M. Sullivan. In 1936 Pat moved to Nighthawk and graduated from Oroville High School in 1948. He entered the United States Army and served in Korea. After he was honorably discharged, he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a machinist at Grand Coulee Dam; having retired from there in 1985. In 1961 Pat married Mary E. Mueller.

Pat and Mary spent many years traveling the United States and were snow birds for many years. Pat was an avid hunter, fisherman and a dirt bike rider. He helped maintain many dirt bike trails inthe Foggy Dew area. He was also a life member of the VFW and the NRA. In 2009 Pat and Mary moved to Apple Springs Assisted Living in Omak.

Survivors include his wife Mary of Omak; stepson Ron (Bonnie) Hirst of Tonasket; stepdaughter Karen Hirst of Spokane; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Ivadelle Sullivan of Omak; two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one brother, Glee

Sullivan.
