Electric City and Grand Coulee have responded to a request from the Grant County Health District for funding, however, in different ways.

Electric City Council voted to give" the'he'alth district'$l for each resident in the city, about $995, city officials stated. It was half of what the health district asked for.

Grand Coulee's city council last week tabled the request until its first meeting in January, waiting to see how the city's budget looks next year.
