Wesley Nelson

Wesley (Wacky) Nelson, 69, of Central City, died at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17 at his home.

Born Sept. 12, 1940 in Muhlenberg County, he was a retired mechanic and service manager at

Montgomery Ward and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Michael Nelson of Central City; one daughter, Kimberly Krill of

Chesterton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Emily,

Tiffany, Kyle and Colten; three great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Anders and Lucas; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Emmett and Alva Nelson of Michigan City,ind., Rondall and Peni Nelson of Livermore, Jerry and Carolyn Nelson of Henderson, Terrell and Jackie Nelson of Robards, David and Mary Nelson, Roger and Debbie Nelson of Bremen; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and John Ellis of Grand Rivers, Judy and Monta Baize of Moorman, Betty Gunterman and Angie and Timmy Miller of Bremen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).
