Two bits on the national medical care issues...

The more I know about the several congressional medical care proposals and all the confusion that they raise, the more I know I don't know what the solution is. My belief is that something like the Wyden Plan might be the best. It allows for most people to have medical insurance coverage, while adding a very minimal amount of government intervention and control. Why don't the Democrats listen to one of their own, Senator Wyden?

One other point, I think cost will never be contained for medical care if the trial lawyers continue to prevent the Obama administration from limiting the size of awards against doctors and medical systems, and limit the amount of award that goes to the lawyer. Oh, I forgot. Obama is a lawyer and a former law professor. Maybe that is the problem. ... dw
