St. Johns Prep students recognized

Three Saint John's Prep students were recognized at the Central Minnesota High School Art Competition and Show, sponsored by Visual Arts Minnesota. Zoey Slater, senior, daughter of Kerri Risberg of St. Cloud, placed first in Sculpture. Marnie MacGregor (pictured at right), senior, daughter of David MacGregor and Marsha Anklam of South Haven, placed first in Photography. Kate Meyer, sophomore, daughter of Joe and Susan Meyer of St. Joseph, placed third in Photography.

The 30th Annual High School Art Exhibit and Competition opened March 25th and continues through May 3, at the Paramount Theatre & Visual Arts Center, 913 St. Germain Street in St. Cloud. The exhibit is open to any young artist grades 9-12 from Central Minnesota. A reception will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. March 29. For details, visit <www.visualartsminnesota.org>.
