CopyJosephine Robak of St. Cloud died April 27, 2010, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. She was 93.
Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life was at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud with Rev. Gregory Lieser officiating. Visitation was after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Josephine A. Robak was born March 13, 1917, in Buckman, Minn., to Peter and Susan (Hohn) Thommes. She married Albert Bennewitz Nov. 28, 1936, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz. He died Aug. 16, 1951. She later married Stanley Robak Jan. 17, 1969, in St. Cloud. He died April 19, 2000. She lived in St. Cloud most of her life and was a member of St. Peter's Parish and Legion of Mary.
Josephine was preceded in death by both husbands; daughter Bonnie Blair, grandson Tommy Hiltner; great-granddaughter Amy Hennen; brothers and sisters Casper, Christopher, Sylvester, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Annie, Casper, Matt, Mary, Lena, Catherine, John, Gertrude, William, Leonard, Lenora, and Agnes.
She is survived by her children Donna (and Butch) Belanger of Cold Spring, Albert (and Judy) Bennewitz of Alexandria, Kathi (and Gordie) Serbus of Kimball; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren. .
Arrangements were by Daniel Funeral Home of St. Cloud.
