Zelda Stein, 107

Zelda Stein of Cokato Manor, Cokato died Monday, May 10, 2010. She was 107.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 14, at the Kimball Church of Christ with Pastors Jon Albert and Jerry Albert officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday, at the church.

Zelda Jane Stein was born Jan. 17, 1903, at the railroad station hotel in Glenwood to I.N. and Luella (Greely) Petty She married David Stein Feb. 7, 1928, in Kimball and they spent their entire married life together in the Kimball area. Zelda enjoyed reading, playing cards and making crafts.

Zelda was preceded in death by her parents; husband David Oct. 28, 1998; infant son Milo; daughter-in-law Norma; brothers Fred, Charles, George, and Percy Petty; and sisters Inez Finley, Eunice Bul-livant Hesse, and Dorothy Sommers.

She is survived by her twin sons Dale F. (and Audrey) of Tucson, Ariz., and Donald E. of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; five grandchildren Pam of Tucson, Ariz., Derek (and Kimberly) of Kalamazoo, Mich., David (and Jenny) of Madison, Wis., Paula (and Greg) Clark of St. Paul, and Daniel of Minneapolis; five great-grandchildren Emilie, Kath-erine, Peter, Evelyn, and Claire; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Cokato Charitable Trust, Kimball Church of Christ, or to the donor's favorite charity.

Arrangements are made by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
