CopyHelen Johnson of Kimball died Monday, May 24, 2010, at Heritage House of Kimball. She was 91.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball. Father Thomas Olson will officiate and burial will be in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery.
Helen Marie Johnson was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Corinna Township, Wright County, to Ernest and Anna (Bayless) Rosenow. She married John L. Johnson Nov. 5, 1955, at St. Anne's Catholic Church. He died July 13, 1983. From 1950-1980, they resided in Minneapolis where for many years Helen was employed by Dayton's Department Store.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; sister Evelyn Stelten; and brothers Clifford and Dale Rosenow.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Ryan, Ad2am and Kurt Stelten, Jim Strohmeier, Shawn Fast, and Brent Olson. The music for the service will be provided by Frosty Schiefelbein, organist, and the St. Anne's Choir. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
