Concrete surfacing project on Meeker County Road 27 began May 24

The Meeker County Highway Department office in Litchfield announced that, weather permitting, work began May 24, on Meeker County State Aid Highway 27 from the Junction of State Highway 24 to the Junction of State Highway 15.

Concrete pouring has been delayed by rain, but it will begin on the west end of CSAH 27 (at Highway 24) and move eastward.

The project may cause delays on Highway 55 in WatJdns, with frequent trips by a fleet of cement trucks.

The road will be closed to public travel. Watch for construction signs as you travel.

All work is scheduled to be complete on or before July 1, weather permitting.

C.S. McCrossan, Inc., of Maple Grove, is the prime contactor for operations of the project.
