Defensive Driving Course

Kimball Community Education and Edqn Valley-Watkins Community Education have again joined with AARP to offer a Mature Driving Course. AARP developed the eight-hour classroom course to help drivers 50 years of age and older to improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents. A four-hour refresher course is offered for those who have already completed the eight-hour initial course. Jerry Imholte is the instructor.

Four-hour refresher course in Kimball will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at KAHS Room 105. Cost is $19, and registration code is 3030.

Four-hour refresher course in Eden Valley will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Eden Valley Civic Center. Cost is $19, and registration code is 3031.

Eight-hour initial course in Watkins will be 5-9 p.m. dates in December yet to be set. Location is Watkins Village Hall, cost is $19, registration code is 3032.

Please note that class size is limited to 25. Names will be put on a waiting list and another class will be offered if needed. Payment for the class needs to be made to confirm a spot for the class.
