Defensive Driving Course

Kimball Community Education and Edqn Valley-Watkins Community Education have again joined with AARP to offer a Mature Driving Course. AARP developed the eight-hour classroom course to help drivers 50 years of age and older to improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents. A four-hour refresher course is offered for those who have already completed the eight-hour initial course. Jerry Imholte is the instructor.

Four-hour refresher course in Kimball will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at KAHS Room 105. Cost is $19, and registration code is 3030.

Four-hour refresher course in Eden Valley will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Eden Valley Civic Center. Cost is $19, and registration code is 3031.

Eight-hour initial course in Watkins will be 5-9 p.m. dates in December yet to be set. Location is Watkins Village Hall, cost is $19, registration code is 3032.

Registration forms are found inside the recently distributed Kimball Cub Prints for Fall 2010. Online, go to <www. kimball.kl2.mn.us>, and click on Community Education. Go to online registration link.

By mail, registration and payment can be made to Kimball Community Education, PO Box 368, Kimball MN 55353.

Please note that class size is limited to 25. Names will be put on a waiting list and another class will be offered if needed. Payment for the class needs to be made to confirm a spot for the class.
