Rita Jansky, 80

Rita Jansky of Waite Park died Aug. 28, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Rita Jansky's life was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud with Rev. Thomas Kno-blach officiating. Family and friends called between 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Holy Spirit parish prayers were at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Entombment was in the Assumption Mausoleum.

Rita A. Jansky was born Nov. 11, 1929 in St. Cloud to Harry and Clara (Bernauer) Beumer. She married Norman J. Jansky Sept. 12, 1953, in St. Mary's Cathedral. She and her husband lived in St. Cloud for more than 30 years where they owned

and operated Jansky's Plumbing and Heating. Upon their retirement, they moved to their lake home in Kimball. Her last residence was in Waite Park.

Rita treasured her family above all, and will be remembered as a wonderful cook.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1996, sister Renee, and brother Jack.

She is survived by her children Jean (and Bill) Arndt of St. Cloud, Rick (and Jo Schaefer) of Kimball, Jo (and Duane) Wold of Monti-cello, and Mark (and Mary) of Kimball; grandchildren Dayna, Craig, Derek, Jennifer, Mady, and Mitchell; and brother Donald Beumer of St. Cloud.

Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home of-St. Cloud.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Guardian Angels of Elk River and the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice for their wonderful care.
