CopyEvelyn Ranniger of Eden Valley died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at the Paynesville Area Care Center. She was 65.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Ertl Funeral Home in Wat-kins with Rev. Richard Gross officiating. Friends called one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Evelyn A. Ranniger was born Feb. 8, 1945, in Minneapolis. She was a good housekeeper, and was excellent at knitting. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bingo, and she loved her dogs. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother Leo Espelund.
She is survived by her special friend Willard Grossinger of Eden Valley; children Nancy Ranniger and Joey Ranniger; sisters Sharon (and Patrick) Meyers, Rosemary Justison, Pauline Noggle (and fiance Vince Zoller) all of Kimball; brother; and James Espelund of Watkins.
