At about 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, Stearns County Sheriff's deputies received a report of an assault involving a firearm in Fairhaven Township. When deputies arrived at the residence, a woman told the deputies that Robert Bohach, age 26 of South Haven, had been at her residence arguing with her. She reported that she was physically assaulted by him and that, at one point, he displayed a handgun which caused her to fear for her life.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office put out an attempt to find Mr. Bohach. At about the same time, the Wright County Sheriff's Office received another assault report involving Bohach. Wright County authorities eventually arrested Bohach on charges in Wright County. He is being held in the Wright County Jail and is also facing charges of second-degree assault and fifth-degree domestic assault in Stearns County.
