The Sherman County Historical Museum invites Wasco and Klickitat county residents free of admission fees during September.

The featured Artist of the Month is Margaret Snider of Grass Valley, whose embroidered tablecloths will be on display. Interpretive exhibits include Wheat Through the Ages, Cultivation, Conservation and Clothespins, and Oregon Trails, Rails and Roads.

Make it a day in Sherman County. Pick up a copy of The Way West, a driving itinerary, or download it from the web site, www.co.sherman.or.us, click on Things to See and Do. Drive through the wind farms east of Wasco, and visit the Wasco Railroad Depot Museum, open Friday and Saturday, interesting mom-and-pop shops, and the award-winning Sherman County Historical Museum in Moro, and the History Wall in Moro City Park adjacent to the museum.

Call the Museum for more information, 541-565-3232.
