Rotary Club Mobile Food Pantry feeds local families

The Macon County Ministers' Council and the Tuskegee Rotary Club held a Mobile Food Pantry during snow flurries on Wednesday, February 24 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Tuskegee.

About 125 families received food from the pantry. Some of the items included canned goods, frozen cherries, blue berries, fresh salads and spinach and juices.

The families registered at their local churches to receive the food items.

Tuskegee Rotary Club members who volunteered were Brad Freeman, Tommy Wadsworth, Ed Corbitt and Al Menefee.
