ALTA VISTA-Monday eve-ning Bill and Sonia Clark attended the visitation at the funeral home in Council Grove for Vic Pape, Jr. Tuesday morning they attended the funeral service at Emmanuel. Saturday afternoon Sonia attended a jewelry party at the home of Margaret Wyatt. Bill and Sonia and Bill and Cindy Bryant had Sunday supper at Timberline Steak House in Salina in honor of Bill Bryant's birthday.

Connie Pickering attended LWML Thursday at the home of Norma Zimmerman. Friday Richard Hutchison and friend C.J. were lunch guests of Connie and Dick. Sunday Connie and Jean Glessner attended church and had lunch at Connie's and spent the afternoon.

Chris and Sandy Bachura and family attended the Burton reunion at Parkerville Sunday. Kirk, Mary and Michelle Waymire and guests Marie Lehman and family attended the Flint Hills 4-H meeting Monday evening. The Lehmans remained until Tuesday evening. Wednesday Mary and Kathy Eads were in Wichita and had lunch with Father Kline. Saturday the Waymires and the Flint Hills 4-H Club toured the K-State dairy barns and the insect zoo. Kirk Jr. paid them a surprise visit Saturday Sunday he visited Margie at Butler College.

- Mike Miller was a Monday evening caller of ours and did some weed eating. We were Council Grove visitors Tuesday. Wednesday evening we enjoyed Family Night at the Simpson church. Thursday we were at the senior center. Friday morning Mary Rhein and I worked at the Thrift Store in Council Grove. Sunday evening we attended the ice cream social for the Voices of the Wind benefit and the band concert at Kaw Mission. What a beautiful evening.
