S.O.S. (Support Our Soldiers) group helping local soldiers and their families

Dear Editor,

Hello, my name is Becky Pearce. I am the leader of a local organization called Support Our Soldiers (S.O.S.). We are a local group supporting those families who need the assistance while overseas or even training in country. Our group helps those families and their soldiers in Morris County.

At this time we are having a few fund-raisers to be able to support those who are gone, and we are wondering if you could help with any donations at this time. All proceeds will go to support these activities and those who need assistance.

If, at this time, you are not able to help, we would appreciate you sharing with others about our mission. This would continue to help our soldiers in the end.

Our first fund-raiser will be a Poker Run on October2 with a starting point at the Round Table Bar and Grill in White City. Registration is at 10 am with the last bike arriving at 5 pm. Please contact me (561-0233), Christy Shelton (349-2855) or Jamie Reiser (223-7774) for more information.
