Prairie Heights PTO collecting Box Tops for Education

Prairie Heights PTO is collecting General Mills Box Tops for Education. This is a way for students to help earn cash for theirschools. Each Home Room at each school will have a contest to see how many Box Tops they can collect. Then at the end of the semester, the winning class will receive a popcorn and pop party. PTO will provide the pop and popcorn.

Anyone can collect Box Tops, just clip, save and donate to any school age student in Dwight or Alta Vista. The students will be excited to receive as many as they can. All the students look forward to winning a party.

Since 1996, Box Tops for Education has donated over $90 million to K-8 schools across the country and that number just keeps growing. With Box Tops for Education, our school can earn cash to purchase whatever it needs most. Box Tops is dedicated to making a difference for our nation's schools, but we can't do it without the help of dedicated people like you.

We turn Box Tops in twice a year, once in October and once in February. Clip Box Tops from hundreds of participating General Mills products. Box Tops are worth 10 cents each when our school redeems them from General Mills. For a list of products go to www.boxtops4education.com. Our school receives a check twice a year from General Mills. This last week we sent in 3000 Box Tops. Great job everyone, when clipping Box Tops, you may cut on the doted line this helps when packaging them up to send in. Each year we send in more and more what a great way to earn money for our schools. Each teacher has a collection can in their room for students to put them in. This is an easy way for everyone in the communities to get involved and help our schools all year long: Box Tops may also be dropped off at the PHES or PHMS school office anytime.
