The resignation of Judi Wild-man as the city clerk for the city of White City was officially accepted at a special meeting of the city council held Friday evening. The council accepted the resignation following a 15 minute executive session that included the council, mayor and city attorney. After the council accepted the resignation, Mayor John Riffel appointed Marcia Lee to the position of city clerk. Mrs. Lee had been the deputy clerk for the past four years.

The special meeting was also held to work on the grant application for city park improvements. Discussion on the type of building to construct ended with the decision for a steel building. Discussion was also held on getting final figures for the project and hours of volunteer labor that would be needed. Another meeting will be held November 30 at 7 pm to finalize the grant.
