Judd Quarles of the Workforce Solutions East Texas spoke to the Tatum Lions Club at their monthly meeting last Monday.

His focus was on their ability not only to help jobseekers but those individuals with disabilities. Their Disability Program Navigator addresses the needs of people with disabilities seeking training and employment opportunities through the Workforce Center. Their Navigator serves as a resource person to the center and persons with disabilities, including people receiving state and federal benefits. All of The Workforce Centers are equipped with large print material, large screen monitors, TTY and TDD, volume adjustable phones and they all have wheelchair accessible desks. In the Longview and Tyler location, they have the clear view 300 magnifier, zoom text 7.0, Braille translation software, reading software and American Sign Language Interpreter available upon request.
