You might live in a small town if...

While checking his feeder at a hunting lease near Daingerfield, Jeremy Philips of Tatum, shot a massive wild hog wtih a 7 mag. The hog weighed in at 630 lbs and 83 inches.

While walking back to his truck on the lease, Philips saw a heard of cows scattering and noticed the hog. That is also when the hog noticed Philips. With his ears raised and grunting, the hog headed straight towards Philips. In a defense reaction, Philips shot at the hog. When the hog raised up on his hind legs, for a moment, Philips thought he may have shot a calf. The Landowner said he has seen three different hogs on the property, all about the same size. After loaded the wild hog with a little help from a tractor, Philips made a stop in Tatum to refuel and that's when the madness began. Vehicles were stopping left and right to see, and take pictures of this hogzilla. Ladies were even posing with the beast. Philips' final destination was at Lindsey's Taxidermy in Beckville. As the hog was drug out of the truck bed, another crowd began to form.
