Rolla graduate earns big promotion at Basin Electric

Basin Electric Power Cooperative welcomes Charles Lee to the position of systems administrator at its headquarters in Bismarck.

Lee, a graduate of Rolla High, began his new position on October 26, 2009. Lee was formerly a work study intern at Bismarck State College and worked at The Star in Rolla.

Basin Electric is a consumer-owned, regional cooperative headquartered in Bismarck, N.D. It generates and transmits electricity to 135 member rural electric systems in nine states: Colorado, Iowa. Minnesota. Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. These member systems distribute electricity to about 2.6 million consumers.
