Amyotte, Belgarde honored by kindergarten classes

Students of the Week in Mary Allard's and Natasha Marcellais' kindergarten classrooms at TMES for the week of March 29, 2010, are Ambrose Amyotte Jr. and Kutter Belgarde

Ambrose is in Mary's classroom. He is 5 years old and would like to be a farmer when he grows up! Ambrose is an awesome reader. He likes the color red, and horses. Ambrose likes to eat sloppy Joes. His favorite books are his schoolbooks, and he likes football. Ambrose's favorite things to do in school are drawing and going to Phy Ed. His favorite things to do at home are shoveling, playing with his puppy, and listening to the weather. Three super-cool facts about Ambrose are that he's a hard worker, he likes to help his grandpa, and he likes to shovel. He says that he's a star because "I'm a smart boy!" Ambrose shows others he cares by helping and being polite. He has a smile that just melts your heart. Ambrose is the son of Ambrose Amyotte, Sr.

Kutter is in Natasha's classroom. Kutter is a super cool kid! He is super-fast at addition and is a great reader. His favorite color is yellow and his favorite food is chicken nuggets. When he grows up he wants to be a cop and a singer. His favorite book is "Wizard of Oz" and his favorite character is the "Tin Man." He also likes to watch the movie, "Wizard of Oz."

When he is at school he likes to play with his friend Tyriece, and at home he likes to color pictures with his mom. Kutter likes to write words and letters. His favorite animal is his cat, Jasper. He helps others by holding the door for them. Kutter says he is special because, "I am me!"

Kutter is the son of Danny Belgarde and Nichole Morin.
