Elsie Grace Poitra, 1 month 24 day old infant daughter of Craig and Lucee Poitra of Mandan, formerly of Belcourt, was born on December 8, 2009 and passed away on February 1, 2010 at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Elsie Grace Poitra was received back into God's hands on February 1,2010 at 3:10 p.m.

She was 56 days old.

Elsie is survived by her dad and mom, Craig and Lucee Poitra of Mandan; sisters, Victoria and Alivia Poitra; brothers, Zachary and Christian Poitra. all of Mandan: grandparents, Perry and Peggy Poitra of Belcourt; honorary grandparents, Gene and Karen Poitra of Belcourt; great-grandparents, Arnold and Gladys Poitra of Belcourt; great-great-grandmothers, Josephine Poitra of Rolette and Lucy Iverson of Bottineau; uncles, Chris (Shawna) Poitra of New Jersey, Mike (Stephanie) Poitra of Bismarck and Derek Poitra of Belcourt; aunts, Amy (Cory) Goumeau, Joelle Poitra, Ashayla Poitra, Kayla (Curt) Poitra and Crystal (Ryan) Poitra, all of Belcourt; and God parents, Dusty and Jay DancingBull.

i Elsie was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John and Stella Davis, Wilmer and Doranna Poitra, and Frank and Evelyn Gladue; and cousins, Tyler Davis, Tony Davis, and Baby Gene Poitra.

A burial will take place on Saturday, May 29,2010, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt.

Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, was change of arrangements.
