Mary Theresa Fulton

Mary Theresa Fulton, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Lexington Park Care Center in Topeka.

She was born January 18, 1936 at Portsmouth, NH, the daughter of Lawrence and Lillian Shaw Kelley. Mary grew up in Somersworth, NH, and graduated from Somersworth High School and attended Mcintosh Business School in Dover, NH. She moved to Kansas in the late 50's.

Mrs. Fulton had worked for Clarostat Mfg. Company, 7-up Bottling Co., and had been a Timekeeper for the Santa Fe Railroad in To-peka for 24 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. She also was a member of the Maple Hill Senior Center, Maple Hill Research Club, Sunflower FCE, American Legion Aux. No. 130 and the Maple Hill Kiwanis Club.

On January 26,1957 she was united in marriage to Keith O. Fulton in Somersworth. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a sister Patricia Flanagan.

Survivors include two sons, Keith R. (Teri) Fulton, Berryton and Richard D. (Shari) Fulton, Anchorage, AK; her siblings Elizabeth Plante, West Lebanon, NH, Frances Weatherbie, Brunswick, ME and Lawrence Kelley, Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Dustin, Kevin, Joshua, Danielle and Justin.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 26,2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. A Rosary/Prayer Vigil was held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.
