John Lee Henderson

John Lee Henderson, 74, McFarland, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

He was born in McFarland on July 18, 1935, the son of Virgil and Irene (Senne) Henderson.

John is survived by Joyce, his wife of 48 years; his son Douglas (Chris); three grandchildren, Nicole, Rebecca, and Jared; and a sister, Virginia (Tom) Dillingham.

John retired from the U.S. Navy after serving from 1953 to

1973. John also retired from Topeka State Hospital as Assistant Chief Engineer in 1997.

Private services are planned.
