Allen Lee Steck

Allen Lee steck, 54, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, in Memphis, Tennessee with his loving daughter, Samantha Marie Steck, by his side.

He was born January 19, 1956, the son William E. Jr. and Shelba "Jeanie" Collyge Steck. His parents died when he was very young and he was adopted and raised by his paternal grandparents William J. and Margaret M. Steck.

Allen attended area schools. He had a lifelong love and talent for auto restoration. His kind heart and generous compassion for others will be remembered by many. His unique personality showed through his humor and his desire to always live life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Steck, on March 17, 1963, his grandparents and one brother, Steven Steck on October 30, 2002.

Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Marie Steck, and one sister, Jeanie Trudo, Wamego, Kansas.

A memorial service was held Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Southhaven, Mississippi A second memorial service will be held to honor his life at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, McFarland, Kansas (Allen's old shop).
