HOMER A. BONHIVER

Homer A. Bonhiver, 91, of Shoreview, Minnesota, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, from a short battle with cancer at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cancer Hospice in St. Paul. Mr. Bonhiver was born in Alma, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Moira.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Dorothy; children, David Church, Judy Bonhiver, Thomas (Susan) Bonhiver, Dan (Melanie Ford) Bonhiver and Nanette (Kent) Malcomson; stepchildren, Greg, Grant (Carolyn) and Gayle (Greg Cardinal) Morstad; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters- inlaw, Edie Bonhiver and Betty Bergh.

Homer received his MBA from Northwestern University and was an independent forensic CPA.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Circle Pines, Minnesota. Private interment.

Memorials may be made to Doctors Without Borders, Our Lady of Good Counsel Home (for cancer patients) or donor's choice.
