4-H MEMBERS CELEBRATE ACHIEVEMENTS

Wabaunsee County 4-H members celebrated their achievements at the 2009 Wabaunsee County 4-H Achievement Night last Monday evening at the Wabaunsee High School. Many awards were handed out, some including: beef carcass, officer book, and record book awards. This year was the first year for a new record book system. The members in the junior division completed the Project Award Application. The intermediate and senior members completed the Kansas Award Application. A county best record book was chosen. Each club's officers had the opportunity to submit their officer books to the county for judging. An overall best officer book was selected. Each year that a member completes the 4-H year they are eligible to receive an achievement pin. This year twenty-two members received Achievement Pins. Below are the results of the 2009 Wabaunsee County 4-H Achievement Night.
