LOGAN AWARDED TOP HONORS

The 72nd annual National Truck Driving Championships were held in Pittsburg, PA August 18-22, 2009. A record of 415 drivers from across the country competed in nine different classes of trucks. To be eligible for the national competition, drivers had to win then-class in their respective state competition. Over the four days of competition, drivers were scored on their performance with a written test, a vehicle inspection, and a driving test.

Don Logan, Eskridge, brought home top honors by winning the three-axle van class. His performance at Nationals further confirms his selection as both the Kansas three-axle champ as well as the Grand Champion driver from Kansas in 2009. At the Nationals, the third time was the charm for Logan who finished 5«i> in 2006 and 11 a in 2008.

Don Logan drives for FedEx Freight and has been with the company for more than 18 years. He has accumulated more than 1.8 million safe driving miles.
