CopyVeta Myrdal died in Tacoma, Washington on May 13 of this year. Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 10, at 10:30 in the morning at Saint Mary's Catholic
Church in Park River, during which there will be testimonials to her as a mother, friend, and good person.
The funeral will be followed immediately by an open house reception at Kensington Place Events Center.
Please join her family in honoring and remembering this remarkable Park River woman.
We look forward to sharing some time with her friends that afternoon.
Veta lived in Park River with her husband Fred from 1956 until 1998. This is where they raised their three children. Veta was known in Park River and the surrounding communities for her extraordinary skills as a seamstress. She was also a gracious hostess. She gave of herself to individuals in need. Veta was known for her independent spirit as she walked and rode her bike through town and into the countryside.
Please feel free to drop by the reception, even if you are unable to attend the funeral service.
