Public Notice... Because the People have the Right to Know

The Corona Town Board met Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Corona Community Center. Members Settje, Schultz, and Settje were present. Also present was Cheryl Rondeau-Bassett.

JoAnn Settje called the meeting to order.

Mosquito spraying will continue through the summer.

Donald Schultz reported on the street lights. Ottertail has recommended some upgrades to some of the older lights. Motion by Donald Settje to replace the mercury vapor open lens lights with high pressure sodium. Motion was seconded by Jerry Settje.

Cheryl Rondeau-Bassett reported on the CLC. Work continues with classes and the Whetstone Valley ' Business Opportunities.

There has been some vandalism at the park. A piece of playground equipment and a picnic table were

damaged. If anyone has information regarding this, please contact a member of the board or the Roberts County Sheriff.

Craig Ceschi with FEMA has contacted JoAnn Settje to discuss flooding. Documentation of the flooding will be compiled and given to him.

Discussion was made on wastewater lagoon maintenance. Clean up scheduled for this fall.

Motion by JoAnn Settje to adjourn.
