Services to be Held Saturday for Ronald "Bud" Hensley in Ohio

Ronald H. "Bud" Hensley, 85, of Lima, OH, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at his residence.

Ronald was born October 15, 1924 in Lima to Clayton Hale and Zoe Pearl Watt Hensley. He married Catherine S. Maxwell of Wilmot, SD, on October 25, 1947.

He had worked as an engineer for the Nickel Plate Railroad for 37 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of American Legion Post 96, VFW Post 1275, Lima, and the Westminster United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at Westminster United Methodist Church in Lima. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be given to Westminster United Methodist Church, 6666 Faulkner Road, Harrod, OH 45850 or to Lima VA. Clinic, 1303 Bellefontaine Ave., Lima, OH 45804.

Survivors include his wife of Lima; four sons: Alan (Kimberly) Hensley of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Darrel (Jenelle) Hensley of Lafayette, OH, Charles (Carolyn) Hensley of Lima, and

James (Tameria) Hensley of Cumming, GA, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Lynn Hensley, and two sisters, Lucille and Ruth.
