Bob and La Verne Kimmel spent from Wednesday to Friday at the Curt and Peggy Mundt home in Agar, SD.

Luella DeGreef and Arnie Speichinger attended the Glacial Lakes Recognition Event Dinner at the Wilmot Community Center on Thursday.

Doug Smith of Mustang, OK, flew into Sioux Falls last Saturday. He drove to Watertown where he spent the night before going to Milbank on Sunday. He visited Glenn Smith at the Golden Living Center and took him out to dinner. There they were joined by Bev Lentz of Bird Island, MN, Shelly Smith of Aberdeen and Chuck and Gladys Miller of Wilmot. Doug spent the rest of Sunday visiting relatives and friends in Wilmot. He was a supper guest at the Guylis and Becky Johnson home. Monday morning he took his dad, Glenn to Sioux Falls where Glenn had sugery to have some skin cancer removed. They returned to Milbank that evening and Doug left from Sioux Falls Tuesday to return to his home at Mustang.

Lois Eastman attended the R.S.V.P. Banquet on Thursday in the Wilmot Community Center. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Slaathaug of Summit visited at the Marlyn and Joyce Green home Wednesday night.

Fred Maxwell was notified this weekend of the death of his brother-in-law, Ronald "Bud"

Hansley, age 85, of Lima, OH.

Luella DeGreef and Elsie Hanson attended the funeral for Gilbert Buttke at Trinity Lutheran Church in Corona on Friday. Gib was the husband of the girls' cousin, Grace Bohlen Buttke.

Seth Sweeney, Sioux Falls was at the Dale Remund home on Thursday to help his parents, Dennis and Heidi Sweeney, with some work on the Remund garage.

Dorene Mueller and Violet Rider were Saturday coffee guests at the Lois Eastman home.

Roger and Louise Green and Marlyn and Joyce Green attended the funeral for Wilma Carlson at Lake Norden on Friday and also visited Bob Broadwine at Lake Norden. They then went on to Prairie Village at Madison spending Friday and Saturday, returning to the South Shore Hoe Down Saturday night.

Tye, Jordan, and Callie Ward of Browns Valley spent Sunday afternoon with their great-grandma Betty Ward.

Jim and Carol Hutchins spent Sunday in Watertown at the Delvin Hutchins home.

Dale and Anita Remund accompanied Dr. David and Lori Oey to Marshall, MN, on Saturday for the baptism of Braylon Israel Alexander Oey, son of Alexander and Tracey Oey, who was born on July 9, 2010.

Arnie Speichinger and Luella DeGreef attended the South Shore Hoe Down on Saturday night.

Elaine Huff of Aberdeen, Shirley and Leon Jurgens, Vonnie Mueller of Milbank, and Amy Brookins and son, Owen of Minneapolis were all visitors of the Dorene Mueller home on Friday. Roger and Elaine Huff stopped Sunday on their way back from a family gathering in

Glenwood, MN. Viola Frerichs was also a coffee guest on Sunday.

Cheryl Rondeau-Bassett traveled to Belcourt, ND on Sunday to attend the funeral of her brother-in-law, Paul Rondeau of St. John, ND at St Ann's Church on Monday morning. Paul, 42, died of cancer on Wednesday, August 25. Also attending the funeral of their, uncle. Monday were Chris Rondeau of Young

America, MN; Pat Rondeau of Brooklyn Park, MN and Sally Rondeau and Dylan of Maple Grove, MN. On Monday afternoon, Cheryl returned to Fargo, ND to attend the HUD grant writing training Tuesday and Wednesday, August 31 and September 1.
