Stephen A. Frazier

Stephen A. Frazier Of Castro Valley passed away on Aug. 12 at the age of 81.

Steve is survived by his five loving daughters: Laura Frazier Libbey (Michael) of Oakland, Kathy Rose (Ralph Olcese) of San Bruno, Patti Grignon (Rex) of Palo Alto, Susan Frazier (Ken Ball) of Castro Valley, and Mary Ellen Silver (Alan) of Oakland. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grand children; his beloved brother, Robert; and three beloved sisters, Vivian Keegan, Muriel Rose and Jackie Schaul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen (Sr.) and Amelia Frazier, and by his wife, Betty. Steve was a resident of the Baywood Court retirement community in Castro Valley.

He was born in Ogallah and attended schools in Wakeeney He moved to California at a young age with his family. He was a proud veteran of U.S. Army service, and met Betty while stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Steve was an electrical engineer and was in business for himself for a number of years' in the Bay Area. He also worked many years for BART and the Port of Oakland, supervising a variety of electrical projects for the rapid transit line, the port and Oakland International Airport.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday (Aug. 17) at the Tower Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave.,

Oakland.
