CopyLessie Belle (Reynolds) Haynes, 88, of Evans, WV, passed away Aug. 30, 2009, in the Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center, Pomeroy, OH, following an extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1921 in Kanawha County, WV, a daughter of the late Alf L. Haynes. Her husband, Denver Haynes; son, Roger Wayne Haynes; grandson, Ronald "J.R."; sister, Edith Wickline, Ruby Ashby and Icie Schoolcraft, and her grandparents with whom she was raised, Rev. L.D. and Sarah Reynolds, also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carmel Primitive Advent Christian Church. Survivors include her sons, Denver L. Haynes of Kenna, and Ronald R. Haynes of Reedy; daughters, Shirley Studebak-er of Mansfield, OH, and Janice Haynes of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Gla-da Wickline of Akron, OH; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Dewey Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Charleston, WV.
