John Goodroe. science teacher at Malakoff High School, has been awarded a grant to the 10th Annual Environmental Health and Biological Sciences Summer Institute, July 19-22, at The University of Texas at Austin.
Goodroe will attend sessions covering DNA and protein synthesis, elemental and compound chemistry', scientific inquiry, and new techniques and biotechnology.
The symposium will be held at the Joe C. Thompson Conference Center.
