The Star of Grand Coulee, Washington

Carrie Crosby, daughter of Darin and Gina Crosby and granddaughter of Richard and Kathy Rice, is the 2010 recipient of the $500 scholarship awarded by local Chapter DG of RE.O. International. The scholarship application process includes a review of the applicants' academic achievement, community service, extracurricular activities, and educational goals. Carrie, a graduate of Mt. Spokane High School, plans to attend Eastern Washington University to earn a degree in dental hygiene. As a talented violin player and a member of the Spokane Falls Community College Orchestra, Carrie will also continue her music studies at EWU. The local RE.O. Chapter DG was established in 1947. Carries's mother is a Lake Roosevelt High School graduate.
