The Superior Sun of Superior, Arizona
Town Council incumbent Soyla "Kiki" Peralta received the majority of the votes in the Superior Town Council recall election, according to the unofficial election results.
The results were updated on the Pinal County Elections website on August 28.
Peralta, whose seat on the council was the one challenged in the recall, received 236 votes (45.47 percent). Candidates Merlin Gindlesperger and Jonathan Kolton received 149 votes (28.78 percent) and 126 votes (24.28 percent) respectively. Eight votes (1.54) went to the unspecified "write-in" category.
